Commercial

Image
This was my very first commercial that I've made. Reviewing back the footage, I could see minor details that could have been improved. However it was expected. I had to learn some features on Adobe Premiere Pro which has made this task more difficult but a fun process. I am proud of how my first production video has came out, as it demonstrates camera work, different shots, and editing skills. I cannot wait to see improvement in feature videos!

I have finally finished filming and gathering all of my footage, and editing. The editing process was a fun learning experience as it was my first time using different programs. Instead of usually using a program such as iMovie I decided to use Premiere pro. Firstly, I had to start reviewing all of my footage and clips to see whichever is useable and disposable. Luckily, there was only one clip that was discarded for the reason that it was blurry. I then moved on to import all of my clips from my folder into the editing software. At first, it was a little difficult to find difficulties and errors importing it. I then moved on from the issue and started to order the clips from the intro to the end. After chronologically ordering the clips, I stabilized the shaky ones. I then took an Adidas logo and took the background out to put into the intro. I figured out how to fade in the logo and fade out for a clean look inside the intro so that viewers know what ad there are watching. I then sp

On today's adventure, I made plans to film. I decided to film when it was a bit dark for early morning to display in my commercial. By doing so, the intention was to give it the effect that people who wear the clothing are always prepared and dedicated. I gathered all the props and tools needed to film this commercial. When I picked up my actor, I instructed him what his role was and what to do with the props. When I reached the school, my actor and I started the filming process. Prior to this, I had called the school and asked them if video recording was permitted, and they gave me access to do so. The first step was to get a panning shot of the school sign for the viewers to get an idea of the commercial and where it is taking place. Afterward, I relocated to a different location in the outside hallway. With this area, my actor was ready with further instructions. I then filmed two extremes and two normal close-up shots showing off the shoes, backpack, pants, and shirt. With two

Hey, I'm back for an update on my commercial! Today was supposed to be a filming day, but there were many interruptions. With my schedule being packed from events to schoolwork I had no other choice than to reschedule the filming date. Although not being able to film I went on and downloaded some editing software's. Doing so, I've learned how to navigate through and practice before I acquire my footage. I am trying to reach out to my actor to ask what day would work best for himself so that I can get prepared. Another issue is that there has been heavy rain for the past few days. Looking at the weather forecast, it appears that its going to be rainy for the next couple of days. Later on today, I am going to do schoolwork so that I can try to get it out of the way. Another interruption will be events that I have to attend to blockading me from filming. I have to attend to multiple family events in the same week and prepare beforehand, taking up majority of my time. The

Props:     Since I chose to do an Adidas commercial the main prop will be the shoes. Other props may include backpacks, track pants, and a loose-fit shirt.  Apparel: In my commercial, I will have a friend as the subject. The actor will wear Adidas-branded shoes and  backpack. Paired with track pants, and a dark-colored shirt. I will have the actor show off the brand by wearing it casually and or demonstrating it athletically by playing a sport or just simply running. If possible to obtain, the actor will also present the brand by having an Adidas water bottle branding. Schedule: On 10/20/22, I will conduct further research on the company's apparel and commercials. On 10/22/22, I will establish and attain the props, apparel, further instructions for scheduling, and finding a location. If all does not go well, I will also formulate a backup plan. On 10/24/22, I will create a storyboard for the scenes that will be enacted in the 30-second commercial. On 10/27/22, I will start record

I am doing an Adidas commercial. In these commercials, the audience usually sees people taking part in exercises and different activities as well as casual wearing, (running, basketball, school, etc.).      They wear apparel such as backpacks, running shoes, hoodies, shirts, and sports bras.         - Different props from the brand include, by not limited to, water bottles, footballs, basketballs, soccer balls, and more.    - Adidas tries to give off the perception that fit athletes that train hard or even amateur athletes getting in shape wear the apparel, making it a company for all.    - The commercials are very motivating, intense-packed sports, with inspirational words and phrases to make the audience feel inspired and get the need to be active. 1. Conventions and codes in Adidas commercials include the 3 striped symbol, combined with the "Impossible is nothing" slogan. This demonstrates to the target audience that anything is possible. Group Blog

Image
Its me again! For this commercial I am not working in a group for varied number of reasons. The reasons for this include that all my friends and classmates has already had the time to pick their partners and who they wanted to work with. This stunted me as they had already written their group blogs and are not able to change or add another group member. Adding a member such as me into their group can also slow them down potentially missing due dates of other blogs or even the development of the commercial. In the process of being in a group everyone must find the time to all meet up and complete the commercial. This can be a complication for some as they may be busy at the time another individual is free. I was switched into the class not too long ago; this made it even more difficult to find a group. By the time I started to do the assigned work everyone had already been partnered up planning for their commercial. This had left me no choice other than to do it individually. I do not
