Production Blog Editing

I have finally finished filming and gathering all of my footage, and editing. The editing process was a fun learning experience as it was my first time using different programs. Instead of usually using a program such as iMovie I decided to use Premiere pro. Firstly, I had to start reviewing all of my footage and clips to see whichever is useable and disposable. Luckily, there was only one clip that was discarded for the reason that it was blurry. I then moved on to import all of my clips from my folder into the editing software. At first, it was a little difficult to find difficulties and errors importing it. I then moved on from the issue and started to order the clips from the intro to the end. After chronologically ordering the clips, I stabilized the shaky ones. I then took an Adidas logo and took the background out to put into the intro. I figured out how to fade in the logo and fade out for a clean look inside the intro so that viewers know what ad there are watching. I then speed-ramped some of the clips. A speed ramp is then processed when applying the effect to clips I have the choice to either make the clip faster or slower. I used this feature in two clips. It provided for smooth transitions and endings. I finally ended the editing process with the Adidas slogan to motivate viewers and remind them what the brand is about. Overall, this was an exciting experience as I learned new effects, and how to navigate through other software. Although challenging, I would do it again!
