Group blog

I'm back, for this project I will be working collaboratively. In my group, I will be working with Sean. I chose to work with him since he is an ambitious and intelligent individual overall. In my time knowing Sean, he is also a nice person. He is always determined to a goal whether it is schoolwork or just an accomplishment of his own. In addition to this, he's very good at time management. My group member is great at this by working around obstacles and finding ways to do assignments or a task in a timely manner. He also has a very good schedule to work around. This helps tremendously as in the future when filming the music video, it will be easy to formulate a time and day to set up everything. Last time in my blog it was hard to find an actor to have the same/similar schedule as me. Sean has proven to show good academics in the past to the present day. He always also does his assignments from other classes in time displaying consistency. This is a major key in this music v

For my music video, my group and I have decided to do a Christmas song. We've decided to use the song, "All I Want For Christmas is You". This will put the viewers in the festive spirit and bring an abundance of joy.      -Actors in the music video was wearing costumes such as scarfs, jackets, earmuffs, and long sleeved jerseys. Others wear Santa suits. By doing so it reveals that is winter time and is the holidays.      -Props used in the in music video, were but not limited to, candy canes, lots of lights, trains, reefs, and many more. These were selectively used for this music video to show that it is near or is Christmas time.     -Actors did actions such as walking around in the city displaying all the Christmas decorations, and dancing in a field of snow.      -This music video is very joyful, it is filled with many costumes and props that are all Christmas theme getting the viewers into the holiday spirit. By doing so it strives to make the viewer happy and excite

Intro blog

Hey, I'm back! Today we're starting a new project and the goal is to create a music video. The last project that I had to work on was very fun. In the process of making my first ever blogs, to creating the commercial was all a new experience for me. I had to plan out ahead of time of what I was going to do for my commercial and what scenes that I wanted to do. This enhanced my brainstorming capabilities and set a new standard for me. The hardest part of making the commercial was the editing process. Making sure to do smooth transitions was very important. Making sure both clips made sense and synced into one another was definitely a thinking process. I put special effects into the video with signs and time remapping to make it pleasant to the viewers eyes. After an hour or two of editing I started to get used to the program and get a hang of it. When I was finished, I did minor corrections that needed to be made and tweaked some bits of it. All in all, I was pleased with my fi

Creative Critical Reflection

  1. My commercial challenges conventions by the opening of a panning shot. I have used the luminescent light coming from the school board sign for realistic lighting. My film represents the student class, establishing students attending to school use the product. The location displays the environment that this product can be used in. My actor has shown, pants, shirt, backpack, and shoes to portray this. By implementing this as well as having some dramatic shots, it makes the viewer want the apparel to use, targeting students mainly but not limited to.  2. My product engages with the audience by grabbing their attention with various detail zoom shots, to panning. Showing off the brand, it shows the many uses that it has. This can be distributed in the real media text as it is visually appealing. Nowadays people have a lower attention span making fast pace videos with intense shots more interesting.  3. My production skills has tremendously improved throughout. I learned how to use Prem
