I am Frustrated on a Tight Schedule

This past week has been very interesting. Hey, the original plans for filming the music video with my group partner have shifted. We were not able to film on Saturday as planned since I got very ill. For the whole week, I was unable to get off my bed. This has made it difficult for us to film at the mall or even set up a date or time I can film. My group and I needed to come up with a solution as soon as possible. After numerous conversations with my group, we settled to film on Thursday. The plan now is to go to Broward mall and film the scenes, then on Friday, I would be able to edit it into one. After finally having everything planned out, my stress was relieved and I was prepared to film. Sadly, on the day of filming, my group partner says that he cannot film at all on the intended day. Having this in mind, this created a stump on my further plans with this music video and other personal activities. Luckily, we decided to film tomorrow which is Saturday. Hopefully, there will be no obstacles in my way now so that my group and I are able to film. I will further brainstorm how everything will be planned out since everything isn't going accorded to plan. Now that my partner has stated his difficulties I am trying to work around things to be able to film with him. We are thinking about filming at Galleria Mall instead because it is closer to my partner and his schedule is apparently tight. Now that this is in thought, Galleria Mall is much farther away from my house than Broward mall is which makes my situation even more complicated. Nevertheless, I will travel the distance to film and create this music video. I can only hope that my group member is able to film tomorrow and not have anything going out throughout the day. I still cannot wait to film and see the results.

There is a Solution!

 It is currently Saturday. I woke up today with a text from my group member about what we're going to film. After the conversation concerning the parts about what is being filmed, I learned that my partner cannot film today either. My partner's schedule is very tight and relying on him is making it detrimental to me. Keeping in mind that this project is due very soon we still have not had anything filmed at this point. I am now getting anxious and frustrated about what my group and I are going to have to do now. My group members' tight schedule has truly made it a detriment to my time and future plans I had. Creative Critical Reflection

  1. My commercial challenges conventions by the opening of a panning shot. I have used the luminescent light coming from the school board sign for realistic lighting. My film represents the student class, establishing students attending to school use the product. The location displays the environment that this product can be used in. My actor has shown, pants, shirt, backpack, and shoes to portray this. By implementing this as well as having some dramatic shots, it makes the viewer want the apparel to use, targeting students mainly but not limited to.  2. My product engages with the audience by grabbing their attention with various detail zoom shots, to panning. Showing off the brand, it shows the many uses that it has. This can be distributed in the real media text as it is visually appealing. Nowadays people have a lower attention span making fast pace videos with intense shots more interesting.  3. What’s the plan now?

    Nothing good comes easy. This is the quote keeping my motivation up. The reason I’m even thinking about this quote is because the filming dates are constantly being delayed. Unfortunately, not only does my group member and I have other work for classes but so we are busy in our daily lives. We are trying to come up with a solution so that we can accumulate together and film. We still need to look into a specific park to go to. Something along the lines next to our school or my partners house may work. It is important for it to be a spacious park so that the puppy can run around and play it’s part to act wild and free. The act of the dog being wild and free will irritate one of the characters, as mentioned in my script. This will be the introduction of the plot. My partner lives near the school.
