Thoughts after filming

My group and I have finally finished the film. Overall after filming and editing this film I have learned many things. For example, i've learned what shots that I should be incorporated when filming. My group members camera person had recorded us from all sorts of angles so our movie gives different perspectives and does not appear boring to the viewers eye. Camera angles used in my film consisted of panning shots, over the shoulder, still, low angles, etc. After capturing all these angles I was able to edit them altogether. I made sure to record all the clips as long as possible to stretch it out while still making visibile and audible sense. This would save the film from falling short on time while still letting me able to have control over all the clips duration. I had cut clips and learned how to do so properly to do seemless transitions in between them. This part of editing was the most difficult and time consuming. The reason for this being, for each clip I had to review the ones before and after to make sure that it was not just a sudden jumpcut and shorten it to fit the criteria. After reviewing the edited footage and exporting it, I realized that premiere pro compressed the video by a couple pixels unless viewed through a phone. Although, this was to be expected as the movie was recorded through my phone, not caputring perfect pixels. Other thoughts that I had on the film was that the title could have been better. My partner has informed me that the title has to be embedded. I will re-edit the film and properly embed the title, "Puppy Problem". I figured that I will embed the title on either the sky or dog. But, most likely it will be embedded on the sky as it is the opening panning scene for the movie. After I do this our film should be complete and ready to go. So far I am happy with the results that came out of what resources and materials I had to work with.
