Wrapping it all up! I finished my Creative Critical Review, reacting and answering all of your guy's questions. This film making process was definitely fun and I will miss it!
Hello and welcome back! Today I will be reviewing and comparing films Le Jetee by Chris Marker and the full-length film by Terry Gilliams. Both films contain their similarities and differences. For instance, in Le Jetee the acting is different to that of the 12 monkeys. Instead of characters actually playing their part, it is in the form of photos and non-diegetic sound. On the other hand, full length film, 12 monkeys has dialogue and actual scenes not photographs. For them to be the similar, 12 monkeys would need a narrator to do a voiceover of the film as well. In order to pay tribute to the movie, 12 Monkeys also reworks the plot, topic, and concepts from La Jetée. In addition, La Jetée is a picture-based narrative about a World War III survivor who is transported back in time to prevent the planet's destruction in order to preserve humankind. Hey, I'm back! Today we're starting a new project and the goal is to create a music video. The last project that I had to work on was very fun. In the process of making my first ever blogs, to creating the commercial was all a new experience for me. I had to plan out ahead of time of what I was going to do for my commercial and what scenes that I wanted to do. This enhanced my brainstorming capabilities and set a new standard for me. The hardest part of making the commercial was the editing process. Making sure to do smooth transitions was very important. Making sure both clips made sense and synced into one another was definitely a thinking process. I put special effects into the video with signs and time remapping to make it pleasant to the viewers eyes. After an hour or two of editing I started to get used to the program and get a hang of it. When I was finished, I did minor corrections that needed to be made and tweaked some bits of it. All in all, I was pleased with my fi...
