Final Preparations

Lets get prepped for the filming process! My group partner and I are ready to start filming this movie and we are excited to do so. If everything goes well, my next blog should talk about how the process before, during, and after the filming process went. Before we begin filming it's a must for me to make sure that we have all the materials required. Materials would consist of additional props that may be used in the movie. Some props we have considered to use was multiple variety of dog toys or anything along the lines resembling the dog. Leashes may also be used to show the actor walking the dog, thus enjoying time together. Addtionally, form of transportation is important. No transportation means that we will have to completely revaluate the plans and lcations for this project. Fortunately, my partner has a car and will be able to drive to the park, and I will be assured to have a ride as of now. After traveling to the park, my partner and I will go to the next location, his house. My partners house will be where the rest of the movie is filmed as it is a building block between the characters and the dogs relationship together. We are also currently debating if we are free right after school to fiilm, or if not meeting up later at said locations. It'll be more convinent to film after school as locations such as Holiday Park and my partners house is nearby. This will work for a quick and easy filming process and not traveling too far to get to the locations. As of now, I am currently brainstorming how I am going to embed the titles into the opening sequence and how the sequence will begin. Transitions are another important thing that I am looking out for. I've been analyzing movies transitions to acquire ideas of how to create smooth transitions between clip to clip. Many movies use panning shots as one, and when there is a sudden silence whenever telling a storyline. Other than that, this is all that is really left to be left into consideration and we are ready to start filming.
