What will help us

     My partner and I are almost ready! My group and I has found alternate solutions to be productive rather than wait for the scheduled film date. Right now we have decided many location spots. This will not only be including the park, but rather his house and maybe the mall. The park will work perfectly for the first one of this movie as I plan to do a panning shot from the sky. This sky pan shot will be the opening sequence to the movie that introduces the film title and credits. The movie title will be embedded onto the sky. I am considering to have one or two of the last remaining credits to be posted on the puppy. This will make my film seem more professional whilst still introducing the cast. We will be filming our next scenes at my partners house as it where the comedic storyline will continue. This will consist of both actors admiring the puppy and sharing moments together. This will help build communication to the audience establishing a strong relationship. We also chose to film at my group members house as it is convenient to him. As of now, there is a possibility of another filming location. This would be the mall. The mall will help establish the friendship between both the dog and the actors. Since this film is comedy, malls tend to be light hearted and individuals go there for fun or either to shop with friends. This will help the audience relate this to my movie. Also, background Individuals will be a great use of white noise to contribute to the scene. These are just some of the many ideas that we have so far.

There is a Solution!

 It is currently Saturday. I woke up today with a text from my group member about what we're going to film. After the conversation concerning the parts about what is being filmed, I learned that my partner cannot film today either. My partner's schedule is very tight and relying on him is making it detrimental to me. Keeping in mind that this project is due very soon we still have not had anything filmed at this point. I am now getting anxious and frustrated about what my group and I are going to have to do now. My group members' tight schedule has truly made it a detriment to my time and future plans I had. Finally, my group member and I decided to film by ourselves. After we both film whenever possible, I will edit all of the clips to make it one sequence to flow smoothly with the music video. Creative Critical Reflection

  1. My commercial challenges conventions by the opening of a panning shot. I have used the luminescent light coming from the school board sign for realistic lighting. My film represents the student class, establishing students attending to school use the product. The location displays the environment that this product can be used in. My actor has shown, pants, shirt, backpack, and shoes to portray this. By implementing this as well as having some dramatic shots, it makes the viewer want the apparel to use, targeting students mainly but not limited to.  2. My product engages with the audience by grabbing their attention with various detail zoom shots, to panning. Showing off the brand, it shows the many uses that it has. This can be distributed in the real media text as it is visually appealing. Nowadays people have a lower attention span making fast pace videos with intense shots more interesting.  3. What’s the plan now?

    Nothing good comes easy. This is the quote keeping my motivation up. The reason I’m even thinking about this quote is because the filming dates are constantly being delayed. Unfortunately, not only does my group member and I have other work for classes but so we are busy in our daily lives. We are trying to come up with a solution so that we can accumulate together and film. We still need to look into a specific park to go to. Something along the lines next to our school or my partners house may work. It is important for it to be a spacious park so that the puppy can run around and play it’s part to act wild and free. The act of the dog being wild and free will irritate one of the characters, as mentioned in my script. This will be the introduction of the plot. My partner lives near the school.
