What's Next?
We're almost ready to begin filming! I cannot wait to start another project. It is different to all the previous tasks that I had to do before. Making this movie is definitely going to be a learning experience for my group and I. After planning the location, schedule, and actors we are almost due to film. I cannot get ahead of myself though, there is still some brainstorming that needs to be done. To start with, planning the schedule is going to be a bit difficult. For example, my partner and I have to consider that we have other school activities to do. This includes, homework, exams, and if any after school activities. Homework and exams for other classes is one of the focuses that takes away majority of our time. Since we do not have all of the same classes my partner and I are assigned homework and exams on opposite days. Whenever I do not have an assignment to do, my partner does. It is still important to focus on our other curricular activities while still being able to complete this film. We have decided as soon as the minute where we get a piece of time free to ourselves that we will film. Although we cannot rush this movie as that would tank production quality. Rushing processes such as, filming, or editing can ruin our movie. Transitions must be smooth to please the viewers eyes, good camera movement and proper editing skills will achieve this. Also, planning out shots ahead of time so that we know what and how to film is crucial. The goal is to match the camera movement/scenes for editing. Opening sequence and title credits will be a huge part in this, if rushed there may be no proper place for the titles to placed. Therefore, we are looking to not rush anything and take our time to make this film.
