There is a Solution!
It is currently Saturday. I woke up today with a text from my group member about what we're going to film. After the conversation concerning the parts about what is being filmed, I learned that my partner cannot film today either. My partner's schedule is very tight and relying on him is making it detrimental to me. Keeping in mind that this project is due very soon we still have not had anything filmed at this point. I am now getting anxious and frustrated about what my group and I are going to have to do now. My group members' tight schedule has truly made it a detriment to my time and future plans I had. Finally, my group member and I decided to film by ourselves. After we both film whenever possible, I will edit all of the clips to make it one sequence to flow smoothly with the music video. Since I was already set for Saturday I figured that I should film the first couple of scenes at the mall. Despite going to film, I had to get my brother to be the cameraman to help me record some of the scenes. The reason for this is that I wanted to have zoom, and panning shots instead of still shots a tripod would achieve. Having a cameraman move the camera also emphasizes movement in scenes which will especially help with this music video. Thankfully, my brother was able to come along to the mall with me to film in spite of his schedule with his schoolwork. We both arrived at the mall at around dusk when it started to get dark so we figured that we could not do any outside shots as there was no source of lighting. My brother and I decided to walk around the mall and see what decorations there were. While walking, I thought of some mini places and scenes I could do around the mall to achieve smooth transitions in post-editing. After we were done analyzing the mall I was ready to film. I gathered all the scenes I was planning to do and told my group partner. Confirming this information, I got straight to filming the music video.
