Intro Blog


 Hello guys allow me to introduce myself, my name is Aaron Maharaj, and I am currently attending Fort Lauderdale High School as a junior. Some of the many traits I possess is that I am a very ambitious person, finding it truly illuminating to achieve my goals. If I ever want to attain my purpose, I fathom ways in order to do whatever it takes to do so. A few of my goals consist of getting good grades and passing my AICE exams, as well as my EOCs. I am an intelligent person whether it pertains to schoolwork or just general knowledge. I tend to find solutions to problems that approach me. This helps me with many real-life scenarios including my schoolwork. I can problem solve in my daily life, for example, whenever my computer is running slow for an odd reason, I can discover ways to fix the problem or work around it. Even in times when I find myself having trouble solving a problem, I do not give up and keep my patience. Other than problem-solving, I enjoy helping others with impediments they may be facing. By either helping them with emotional problems or even physical. Doing so rewards me by feeling like a better person. Being generous and nice to others is another strong suit of mine. Since my youth, I was taught to treat people with kindness, and respect. Ever since I learned to share and give back. Whether it is giving spare money to the homeless, complimenting others, or being a generous person all in all. A hobby of mine is photography. I love the concept of post-development and taking the picture itself. I mainly take pictures of automotive mobiles, but not limited. The process of editing an image, grasping, and being able to see a transformation amuses me. In addition to this, another hobby of mine is the automotive industry. I thoroughly enjoy fixing and modifying cars while having the chance to share my passion with others. Being able to lower, change the wheels, etc. truly excites me. Having the capability to problem solve helps, where in a scenario if something were to break in my car, I can provide a quick solution to resolve the issue.

There is a Solution!

 It is currently Saturday. I woke up today with a text from my group member about what we're going to film. After the conversation concerning the parts about what is being filmed, I learned that my partner cannot film today either. My partner's schedule is very tight and relying on him is making it detrimental to me. Keeping in mind that this project is due very soon we still have not had anything filmed at this point. I am now getting anxious and frustrated about what my group and I are going to have to do now. My group members' tight schedule has truly made it a detriment to my time and future plans I had. Finally, my group member and I decided to film by ourselves. After we both film whenever possible, I will edit all of the clips to make it one sequence to flow smoothly with the music video. Creative Critical Reflection

  1. My commercial challenges conventions by the opening of a panning shot. I have used the luminescent light coming from the school board sign for realistic lighting. My film represents the student class, establishing students attending to school use the product. The location displays the environment that this product can be used in. My actor has shown, pants, shirt, backpack, and shoes to portray this. By implementing this as well as having some dramatic shots, it makes the viewer want the apparel to use, targeting students mainly but not limited to.  2. My product engages with the audience by grabbing their attention with various detail zoom shots, to panning. Showing off the brand, it shows the many uses that it has. This can be distributed in the real media text as it is visually appealing. Nowadays people have a lower attention span making fast pace videos with intense shots more interesting.  3. What’s the plan now?

    Nothing good comes easy. This is the quote keeping my motivation up. The reason I’m even thinking about this quote is because the filming dates are constantly being delayed. Unfortunately, not only does my group member and I have other work for classes but so we are busy in our daily lives. We are trying to come up with a solution so that we can accumulate together and film. We still need to look into a specific park to go to. Something along the lines next to our school or my partners house may work. It is important for it to be a spacious park so that the puppy can run around and play it’s part to act wild and free. The act of the dog being wild and free will irritate one of the characters, as mentioned in my script. This will be the introduction of the plot. My partner lives near the school.
